I absolutely loved this short 3 part series.

Its still a few years till i get my first mal.

At 50 and a bunch of training now under my belt i finally think i am ready to get the dog i have wanted for 20 years but was not willing to get until my skills and situation were up to the challenge.

Really appreciate all the info you put out

Very helpful. Still doing my homework and this helps me know what to expect realistically. Looks like the right and best thing to do is to take a few weeks off work to complete the daily routine.

Very good information. Thank you. I do like the format and have begun looking for your videos every Saturday. I’m retiring next year and have a lot of time on my hands. So my wife and I are targeting June July time frame to get our mal.

You helped me so much (a little over a year ago) when we first adopted our "German Shepherd Mix." She looks like a Belgian Malinois so I was so happy when I found your videos. The night we brought her home I was so worried and had left you a comment on one of your videos. You commented back and helped me so much!!! Thank you again--a year later. With that being said, this is such a great video to help realize the demands and what to expect your first 24 hours. So many will benefit from this information. A year ago, you answered my comment in 24 hours and helped calm my nerves--and, to this day, I appreciate that kind message/comment. Your videos over the past year have helped us learn so much. Because of you, we definitely learned that training is so important! We have a professional trainer--- still a year later---thanks to your videos--- and will continue to keep a trainer because it has made all the difference in the world. This video is wonderful! The first 24 hours with a new dog/puppy is definitely a lot of work but your video is so informative of what to expect and how to manage it. Love your videos! Thanks again!

I researched the breed for like a year before getting my dog. Back then I was still ignorant on reputable breeding, health tests, titling, etc.

My pup (profile pic) is actually a Mal/GSD.

Medium to high energy with a beautiful shut off switch😊.

Single mom, full time military on a shift schedule. I actually took 15 days off work to dedicate to him and it made a world of difference. My son helped lots as well.

Thank you for the series! It was really helpful! I get to pick my puppy, Stella, up in 10 days! I've researched trainers and have one experienced with working with Malinois. Your channel has been a really big help about learning more about the nuances of working with this beautiful breed. Thanks again!!

Thank you! I am rewatching all your puppy videos. This is extremely useful and applicable for someone who is about to pick up a new Mal puppy. Please make more detailed content of puppy in ordinary life and how to cope & manage the training. Thanks again.

I love this and can completely agree... I got a low to medium energy GSD puppy almost 2 month ago and the 1st month was brutal especially if u r alone... now I knew what I was getting myself into and expected a lot of work and man it is a lot of work...

I love this video. There are so many "Sunshine Videos" that just don't tell the whole truth.
I don't want to know how many Belgian Shepherds are abandoned or even die each year for not telling people the truth.
Videos like this are likely to save the lives of many Malinois.

Another great video covered everything I wanted to ask. I used to have a german shepherd that was very high energy and I had a 8 hour job, yes it was hard but manageable.

Thank you for these videos they helped me and now me and my 11 week mal pup are bonding our first 24 hours were a nightmare she was in a crate for over 14 hours getting to me and then two days to settle in. Today was the first day she ate a half cup of food.

Great video, extremely informative.
I definitely looked crap on the first few weeks with my german shepherd girl, but all the hard work paid off!

Definitely enjoyed, was looking forward to this episode literally counting the days! of course we would have liked more stuff going on in the video but like you said you had a birthday to plan & other things happening so that is understandable by all means

When I got my puppy (half Malinois/ half German Shepherd) I didn’t sleep and I also did not shower for 5 whole days 🤣
