I love the way Martin Freeman conveys Biblo's thoughts.
Like, he was fully expecting his house to still be trashed and dwarves lying drunk everywhere like it was the aftermath of the Shire's biggest bachelor's party. But, everything's neat and organized, there's no mess, and the only evidence that they were there is the lack of food in the pantry.
I love it.

Becoming an adult really made me understand Bilbo. We all wish for an amazing adventure when we are kids, but when the adventure finally knocks at your door, it is up to yourself if you are bold and brave enough to take it on. Nobody could fault him for declining and keep living the good life.

Underrated scene
Much better than what happened in the book imo
Unlike the book, here it's Bilbo who chooses to go on the adventure instead of Gandalf nudging him out of the door

This scene makes me cry every time.
It is when you get a life time opportunity and decide to go with it, no matter the consequences.
It’s something I would myself loved to do so many times. So many wasted opportunities…
Don’t be afraid to try, change and take risks in life.
This is the true legacy of the Hobbit movies.

I actually like this better than the book version where Gandalf forces him out of the house. Here you can see the adventurous Took blood take over and have him go on an adventure.
