Hi unless I missed it what was the weather conditions // ambient temp when u tested with and without coolers fitted .
Yup agreed every cooler maker tries to scare u saying the water cooled factory unit will split !!! LOL
The aftermarket cooler industry have always said this .
By the way apart from the vehicle specific parts the coolers are only worth $40 Usd each retail
The coolers are made by Spicer /Dana Sold as Long industries and TruCool . Most OEM use them .

Hey Mr Browne Town legend, I've just completed the cooler mod and your video made it very helpful, however I did need to remove the front drive shaft as i had a few acc cables runing down inside the chassis, what I cant find is the torque specs for retighten it back up, have you got this info on hand by any chance? Thanks again.

Having the twin oil cooler set up does that restrict airflow to the radiator as the bt50 are bad for over heating
Cheers

I have a Honda civic 2012 coupe everything is factory designed besides an cold air intake (I dint tow anything )I was wondering if I need to get an transmssion cooler for the hot temp. In south texas Or if my car is safe enough to handle it via it’s build design? Any thing helps

i'm doing this job right now, alloy pan for extra oil and a drain plug , twin cooler kit from wholesale automatics ' no towing involved just want to eliminate heat exchange unit , i'm leaving the stock thermal valve in as i want the transmission to warm up quickly on really cold mornings and also maintain optimal running temp ' installing bypass valve might run the transmission to cold in zero temps ?

Is it worth putting in a bypass valve and cooler for a bt50 4x2?. Just normal driving and once in a blue moon towing a trailer to the tip?.

How’s it going with cooler only?
See a need for the bypass valve yet? Especially in this hot summer!

strange the kit is different to the Ranger kit thought they would of been the same and the ranger one goes behind intercooler instead of in front

it would be so much easier if ford put a dip stick

Using a J pipe to connect the two coolant hoses is just lazy and it introduces two unnecessary joins in to the coolant system. Just find the other end of the coolant hoses and join them together with one piece of hose.
