I’m a young white woman from Mississippi, and I want to do any unlearning I can because I want to stand for anti-racism because I believe black and brown lives matter, and I love black and brown people. ♥️

Thank you SO MUCH for this video - will be including in the presentation I'm giving about the importance of incorporating anti-racist education into every day life. I have not been able to find a better explanation with actionable steps. Will be continuing to share this as an amazing resource. Really appreciate it!

I agree on the fact that racism is learned. It comes from the very beginning of the upbringing and environment that person was born and raised in. As with many things in life that have to be taught and explained by parents, racism problem should be at the top of the list. But that also does not guarantee that even a person that had the right influence gonna be nice and loving person towards the other race. I see it as the one of the world's biggest and compicated problems...the hatridge towards a different species than yourself. And it's really sad that it's so common and spread around the globe. Some people play that tollerant role but that's not exactly what they feel inside their heart. I mean they hang out with you and all that but that's just a tollerant mask of being "right". So even if you taught and explained correctly everything bout racism in your childhood days...your opinion might change with time, occasion or any other factor. I see sometimes it's just simply bout whether you have that big heart or you don't. Racism is a human race's curse that only bring wars, suffers and disasters. In my opinion...the exact cure doesn't exist. Everyone should search fo that love inside their own heart.
Thank you for you video😊.It's really meaningfull and cool at the same time. And you are such an ejucated, smart and stunning lady 😍 It's a pleasure to watch your content💯

Great explanation! It makes me think of the notion that people fear what they dont know or understand, and the retelling of an experience to their friends and family to further perpetuate the fear of a particular group. Does the brain know the difference from real and imagined threats when it comes to fear? Some examples of this would possibly be the videos of so called "Karens" going around. Like you mentioned we all need to submerge ourselves with cultures to better understand them. I hope one day you make it to TED talks🙏🏾👏🏾

It would be good to just put one idea of how to deal with racism. Otherwise it’s overwhelming
