Looks like its running good. I really do enjoy my 400c. I'm Having mine ported it will probably end up with more power than my 500i or 660 when its done. Maybee not as much torque but lots of power

The 400 has a lot of market potential. Large enough for most jobs, yet not so large to scare people off. And the price is right also. I've yet to see if it will drive a 28" B&C or larger. And will the saw oil the extra length?

Where did you get and what part number is that felling dog for the clutch cover plate is it the same as the one that comes on the inside of the saw on a case I just picked the 400 up?
