Easiest way to identify a fake Marine is to ask what their favorite crayon is. If they reply with a color, they’re a phony. If they respond with a flavor, they’re legit.

I served as a Milkshake Gunner with MEAL Team 2 during the Gulf War. French fries were in short supply but we made do with what we could. I was awarded the Ronald McDonald Medal of Honor after I rescued my buddy from the effects of a bio-chemical explosion in the restroom. Difficult but memorable times.

This guy had the most decorated Marines reserve career I've ever seen. Very impressive to talk with such a person.

This guy is the real deal. Myself and another friend served with him. We all left the Marine Corps on the same day... He got his DD214, I was next in line so I have a DD215 and my other buddy was behind me in line and got the DD216. We ran into each in Boston again when we were drafted by the Patriots and won the Superbowl.

As a former Marine this pisses me off!!! I did nothing special when I was in but I was a good Marine and served my country with honor!!! I never embellished anything I did or didn’t do and I’m proud to have been in the Corps!!! Semper Fi 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

It’s embarrassing to hear these guys defile their own honor.

Imagine him getting the DD214, and applying for a real security job. He doesn’t have the brain power to be a Walmart greeter.

The look on Mr Shipley, s face is. The same look on my dad's face when I was lying about skipping school

I never understood why some guys feel they have to blow it up. I did my time. Got out E-4. No combat. I served, I’m proud of what I did. I got my VA Mortgage and my free lifetime National Parks card. My parking spot at Home Depot.

As a Delta Seal USMC Airmen that flew helicopter jets covertly in the 80's, I can say that this guys story 100% checks out.

As a non service member, thanks to everyone who's served. Like in any capacity. From the guy serving food, to the guy on sanitation. No need to lie man. It's all honorable.

I AM a sergeant with the Memphis Police Department. Not served in the military. I find it hilarious how you uncover these jackasses. Appreciate your service as well sir.

As a Marine, that is the most decorated reservist I have ever heard of. 😂

I'm in the reserves, but it turns out that I served in every major and minor conflict of the past 45 years.

Served as a Colonel in the Reddenbacher wars. When things started popping and the smoke settled, we buttered up, hunkered down bagged em all.

I was power window operator on the uss impala. Lots of ops happened in the back seat of the uss impala. I have witnesses, but I can't name names. I have the low fuel mileage ribbon, and the large trunk badge. Ty Don. Appreciate you calling these guys out. Army 54B here. NBC
