Mad respect for your success. I can't believe you only got $8, 000 out of it. The CEO of Spotify said recently that if artists wanted to make more money they have to "churn out more music". Clearly there's a disconnect between the people who make the music and the people who exploit musicians.

The streaming payouts are dismal. I don't even know how that's legal seeing as the cost of recording, releasing and promoting music is almost always going to outweigh the returns unless you are a big artist. So sad.
