Hey Andrew i've been watching your content and it's helped me a lot. Congratulations on the milestone. I wanted to ask this .When is the appropriate time to turn off a specific ad ?

Do you find that running YouTube ads on a video and then stopping them makes the video just stagnate in views? Any way to get around this? We ran a bunch of ads on ours and got a ton of engagement up to about 45k views, and we must have gotten about 500 views on the video over the past year that we haven’t been running ads, while other videos have been increasing at a greater rate proportionally. My theory is that YouTube just doesn’t push it because they want you to keep spending more money.

Andrew what are ur thoughts on starting ur own marketing agency? people give u their songs - u make ur magic and take ur %% or a one time payment
tbh i've been waiting for years for smth like that from u cause i trust u more than other whatever marketing companies/guys with no music product targeting experience (i doubt they even know how to push a song on discover weekly lol) and u got 50000 people believing in ur way of marketing music, that could make u rich, why do we even need labels, lets do something together, all of us, this could be huge

The money is pitiful..when Napster gave our music a way for free..the record industry panicked rolled us over and now we get jack.Imagine you had sold 1.5million copies, back in the day, you'd be a millionaire...Spotify is BS lets face it!

That’s pretty good . I bet you’ve earned back the money you’ve spent on the song itself plus ads and more 😊

Hey Andrew, great video and thanks for your insights. But I think you got it wrong in terms of how Spotify pays out artists. It's not important if a listener has a free or a premium account. As far as I know (and Spotify claims itself), Spotify divides all the money they earn in one country into the artist's share of the total number of streams in that country.

Streams for a song I wrote called "Who I am" (I performed it as well) broke 1.3 million streams in the 2nd quarter of this year and I got a couple hundred bucks or so. The royalty was about $0.0003 per stream.

congrats, really good job. So far I still can't get fb ads to work good, not sure what I'm doing wrong.

Hey man. Thanks for an awesome vid. You didn't say why you chose to distribute the song via Amuse

I imagine the investment was made over time, but wonder if there is any ROI on much smaller costs to promote.

Hi Andrew, why did you not include any calculation for the Mechanical and Songwriter/Publishing Royalties?

Excellent video as usual. I’ve been running ads. Some work, most don’t. But there just doesn’t seem to be any algorithm kick. It’s like I’m spending £10 a day for not much improvement. Is it possible my algorithms are completely f*cked? My creative is great and tbe results are decent 0.10 - 0.25. Feel like I’m just getting no where fast with these ads

Hey Andrew!
I hope you have some wisdom to share with me (I'm sure you do)
I have ads set up to start running soon and at the moment I am only planning on doing £5 a day (around $7) and was just wondering if you think it will give okay results. I am only planning to target tier one and tier 2 countries and only sending them to spotify (I have a toneden landing page with my pixel) and only doing fb and ig feeds, reels and stories. If you have any ideas on how I could change the campaign for maybe better results or lower cpc

Thanks!

How does fast forward work exactly? Like how long does it take for amuse to pay you for a stream after it has occurred? If you don’t mind me asking

Can you make a vid explaining how worth it your campaigns are? like I see so much time and effort put into them as well as the music but is it really worth all that promotion and effort or would time/money be better spent elsewhere in terms of marketing and PR? hope that makes sense...
