Being a fighting/fitness channel, I often get asked "can I lift weights and fight train on the same day, or every other day?" Here I share my entire workout from the other day where I worked Muay Thai, chest, and triceps -- fight and weight training. Now I don't always do my workouts in this format, sometimes I'll focus on the fighting aspect, sometimes I'll do all weights and focus on heavy lifts for strength, sometimes I will only do cardio! I just wanted to share with you one of the many workouts I do, so you can try it, tweak it, dismiss it, share it.. whatever you want!

My coach tell me that lifting heavy is important too, it will build your strength, power, explosiveness and will make your bones more dense, but he tell me that make sure you do a good form and pick the weight that suit your body. Awesome video btw!

just got back from the gym after a long inconsistent break bc I felt aimless and unmotivated. Watching this video gave me some morale boost and I went for it. Seeing how much endurance and strength I've lost was very humbling. Couldn't even throw proper hooks towards the 2nd heavybag round. Weighted dips and chest fly absolutely killed me. Worked on some hammy/glute flexibility during the cool down.
Thank you as always Shane, I will try to turn things around and start taking care of myself consistently. Now it's time to eat baby!!

Great video, very useful. I've trained martial arts for a long time, but I decided I wanted to build a lot of muscle and gain some weight since I only weighed about 125 so I focused a lot more on "bodybuilding" for about a year and a half. Now I'm almost at my target weight of a lean 155 I'm looking to incorporate martial arts into my workouts again, but whilst still maintaining a lot of the muscle and strength I've gained over the last 2 years.
