There’s another great book by Miles McPherson called “The Third Option”. Miles is a black pastor at The Rock Church San Diego. He’s a former NFL player for the Chargers as well. His insight is personal and his book is a text we all need to read. On another note, I am a white Jewish woman married to a black man. Our family is extremely diverse. It hurts my heart that my biracial grandchildren have to be a different lesson about life than my white grandchildren. I cringe when I think that this situation could have been my husband, son or grandson. If we would all just stop and think about that. We all bleed the same color. We are all created in the image of God. If we could just see that the injustice against our brothers and sisters is wrong we could love one another with no prejudice.

Absolutely the same thing applies to caucasian skinned (& other) people, too. What Van said: That the millions are NOT represented by the fractional numbers doing violence. We absolutely care and desire unity and justice. Know that. Common truths.

Finally George Floyd's murderes have been charged but unfortunately there are many other police officers and white supremacists who killed or tortured black man and women for no reason and are still out there living their filthy lives, I hope that those horrible horrible people will be brought to the real justice and that these protests will bring the equal justice every HUMAN (no matter the background) deserves 🙏
