I actually thought Van was a pretty good guy until he demerred when it came to a a fellow who is accused of heinous sexual assaults against minors and young people. Bill spoke about the Kamala moment and how she needs one but with Van Jones being part of her cheerleading team, it ain't coming.

I don't agree with Polis on many things but I appreciate his support for ranked-choice voting in Colorado (even against the support of is party). I voted yes on that initiative. Also, funniest line "The moment he (Columbus) became a colonizer he became Jewish" - LMFAO. Brilliant line.

It wasn't just in the South that Jews tried to help Black people. I grew up Jewish in NYC. My parents had me take a bus to go to a young Black pediatrician and his brother, a dentist, from the time I was about 10. They were helping these men get their practices going -- and to teach me that Black people can be anything: doctor, lawyer, dentist, etc. I COULD have gone to the Jewish doctor who was in walking distance. This was in the 1960's. White people weren't doing this.
