I use one of these as a "DashCam" on my bike. Stick it on my handlebar and It gets every angle on one cam. Pretty cool. No more helmet gopro for me =D

Insta360 did a great job of reducing the wind noise by reducing all noise lol.
On a serious note, I've been really disappointed by the reviews from motovloggers up until this one. Thank you for keeping it real when the others won't. We notice and appreciate it. Rock on Chase.

OC: recently purchased a Insta360 One X2 and am loving it.
got some cool footage of riding in a thunderstorm just the other night, but im still trying to find my groove on the best way to edit the video.
Also, trying to mod the dive case so that i can run a USB cable up the side so that i can make the unit water resistant while connected to power for those long trips (I have a 256GB MicroSD)

I use 360 1R and the 360 Go2 on FPV race drones. ACRO bashing, flips, rolls, and chasing. They are great for sharing. This one might be good enough for professional work. A lot of drone Photography is about real photography for commercial, movies, documentaries etc…. In photography terms Insta360 has not been a real option. GoPro has always been better, but maybe that’s going to change. Dynamic range and manual settings are as important as stabilization and the Reel Steady Go2 is pretty good.

There are a few things you missed like there is more vents so it won't overheat as bad as the old one. Plus the lens covers won't fit on the new cases as well. Also your old cases won't fit with the new battery as well.

Been looking at camera's when I get my bike up and running again, one day I stumbled across the Insta360 OneR and thought "Damn, that's a nice camera! You only need one for front and back views, so you don't have to buy multiple camera's." Just today I found out that the OneRS Came out, and now I no longer want the OneR lol. And with editing from the app and computer that was a no brainer for me (even though I don't post). OC 🤘🏼🤘🏼

I use the 1inch mod when flying my paramotor. I put it in auto then download the raw footage to my phone. From there if I want to do any further editing I use Filmora to add music, text, transitions etc....

OC I use the One X2 and will admit I rarely have time to run everything thru studio, so I end up using it as b roll that isn't as good looking as it should be. Very interested in seeing them try to get more of a one and done out, hopefully a matter of time before it's SD card out and away you go!

Chase you and yummiR6 inspired me to start on bikes I leaned on a dirtbike but after that I recently just bought a klx250s and I absolutely love it but I want to say thank you for making me super interested in bikes. And thank you for making me smile on my bad days. I love you both so much💕

I bought one of these after watching this video. Mistake. It's really too big and heavy for mounting in the standard location on the end of a long pole. It works OK on the bars. I used it once. The dual camera thing is a gimmick that I'll never use. Trying to sell on eBay at a loss now so I can buy the One X3 instead.

Impressive how well the 2nd gen looks, in spite of not being a fan of wide angle image shape distortion as well as the dizzying headache it gives me as a viewer that is not watching videos on a phone or a laptop type small formats. Watching videos on cars or bikes and then finally seeing them in person with the naked eye, induces this feeling of being lied to by how different things appear in real life.

Funny you didn't mentioned something VERY IMPORTANT.. which is how the internal mic sucks compared to the GoPro.. it sounded like it's under the water and it couldn't handle wind noise..

11:06 yep on chases hat you can see the stitch line is still bad. Nbd until it’s in the center of the area you need to use for footage and it’s there for your whole video as a result
