I’ve been absolutely fascinated with the footage these cams are providing. That this image quality is possible with just two fisheye lenses is sounding, let alone the stick removal and horizon stabilization.

I run all my 1080p exports from the Insta 360 through Topaz AI. Once upscaled to 4k with a bit of deblocking, it truly looks amazing. One day when these 360 cameras are 12k and have a much higher bit rate then that won't be necessary but for now, Insta 360 paired with Topaz is a match made in heaven.

I've had one for a week - the image quality is really not there yet IMO. I like the flexibility though and it'd be good for showing scenery on roadtrips etc, but it's noisy AF in anything approaching low light. When they get a new sensor it might be worth investigating...

This video was very timely. I have been seriously thinking about filming and posting rides and this gave me a lot to think about. I have experience with audio tools (ProTools and GarageBand) but I’ve never messed with video because I find it intimidating.

After I got hit on my bike in August, I wanted a way to film my rides - if for no other reason than for insurance purposes should I be involved in another accident. After a few months of deliberating, I decided on the Insta 360 X3 because of the 360 view. I was considering a front/rear hardwired camera setup, a GoPro, and a DJI action cam. I bought it during their Black Friday sale and it’s snowed a few times since so unfortunately I have yet to actually test it on a ride, but I’m looking forward to playing around with it.

I like what the X2 and X3 do but the form factor is less than ideal for mounting. It’s too tall compared to the One RS. I’ve been using both and the One RS gets used weekly while my X2 sits in the case. The reality is I use the minute GO2 more than any other action camera.

We are a long time user of two insta 360 cameras (The X2) which we did buy. Great reliable cameras. They capture some awesome shots but there are some down sides you didn't mention:
Those convex double lenses are very easy to damage, never lay the camera flat on a hard surface without the lense guard fitted.
If you film long sections in 360 then the editing is very time consuming and tedious.
Post much footage of the view turning or unnaturally spinning around and your audience will feel nauseous and thumb your vid down.
Love your channel, but really this is stuff folks need to know before buying.

Many motovlogs use the GoPro's for their travels and swap out video cards as they go along. You can get quite a bit of recording before having to change cards. Hw long can you record on the 360?

Always my go to camera! Love it. Recommend upscaling though to 4k on youtube. Youtube destroys HD footage.
