Brian acknowledges the horrors of leaving a dead body out in the wild when he suggested Gabby’s parents may get some kind of satisfaction out of his body being ravaged by scavengers, yet he chose to inflict that same horror on Gabby by abandoning her body and racing back home to his mom and dad!

Brian was a loser. She met him in high school when she didn’t know better. She was figuring it out and would have eventually dumped him. That’s why he killed her.

I'm so sorry for the parents of Gaby. Brian 's cruel actions left them in so much pain. They understandable are still searching for answers and some form of justice before they can start to heal.

You don't abuse & murder someone you love. That, in fact, is the opposite of love. So tired of continuing to hear these myths about abuse & abusers from supposed professionals.

Also, abusers don't "lose control". They are very much in control and feel entitled and justified in their actions--which is especially obvious in this case. If you are seeking therapy for abuse and you get a therapist like this, run away. They will do much more harm than good. Yikes.

Two public incidents. One when the cops pulled them over and the argument in the restaurant. She probably realized he wasn’t such a nice guy after all. I suspect Gabby was trying to break up with him and he went ballistic.

This is in no way a crime of passion !This is an abusive coward that coerced, controlled and destroyed poor Gabby from the inside out .Once his controlling ways were not as effective he chose to strangle with his bare hands and look in the eyes of a woman he supposedly loved and take her life .No way did he love her at all absolute disgraceful explanation of "I was being merciful " is a complete and utter disregard for the pain and suffering that mouse of a so called caused poor Gabby !

His statement “ I am sorry to my family, this is a shock to them as well “ surely that means his parents knew what he’d done & didn’t speak up, or let her family know.
