I hate that the Laundrie's attorney keeps trying to make a moral equivalency between the family of Gabby Petito and the family of Brian Laundrie, the death of Gabby and the death of Brian. Brian Laundrie was a murderer who took the life of Gabby and then his own life. Gabby didn't kill anyone. Gabby is the victim NOT Brian. The Petito family suffered the brutal loss of their daughter and did everything in their power to find her. The Laundrie family did nothing to help the Petito family but instead tried to conceal and aid in the escape of their murderous son. I cannot grieve with the Laundries. Their behavior was despicable! I cannot grieve Brian, who selfishly killed Gabby and then himself. There simply is NOT a moral equivalency. The Laundries attorney is simply wrong.

Where did he get £20, 000 from. They were calling Gabbys dad for money for food on occasion and after he killed her he was using her bank card because he didn’t have any money of his own. I wonder if his parents gave him £20, 000 after he killed her so that he could disappear .

I'm just confused. If Brian Laundrie were alive and on trial, the notebook would I assume be submitted as evidence and most likely part of public record. But since he is deceased, it's considered private property ? And, given the controversy that Brian Laundrie is actually deceased, will the autopsy be released to prove that point ?

There’s something about this case that feels extra extra tragic. Gabby had a gypsy soul, she loved adventures and she had a world to see and experience. She was an artist born to create and inspire others to do the same. She was in the middle of creating her beautiful, free spirited life… but unfortunately, the person she trusted to share her journey with turned out to be a cancer and became to seep into every barrier she tried to protect herself with. It’s my opinion that she was most likely going to leave him… and maybe that’s what caused his evil to fully surface.

I honestly hope that Gabby's family should get all her belongings including the van. I do believe they should get Brian's money as well! Especially since there is concrete evidence that he killed The notebook is hard for me to say. We don't know what all is in there. As much as I dislike the Dirty Laundries it may be something in there they want. However the parents deserve the confession. But what do I know!!! I hope that Gabby's parents will release it if they get it. I think we are all invested in this terrible case. Thank you for sharing this with us!
