"Grisly" was being murdered at the hands of the man she loved. He CHOSE his ending. She didn't.

I have a theory. It's obvious Brian's parents knew what he did to Gabby. Brian knew what waited him in the near future, and he didn't want to live the rest of his life in a prison. I believe the parents knew and respected Brian's decision to commit suicide. That's why it was so important for them to make that one last camping trip before he went to do himself in. They knew where he was going to do it, and when the time was "right, " they "found" his remains.
How about that? Does anybody agree with me???

Why is anyone talking about how “ grisly “ a murderers death was? Gabby experienced much, much worse for no reason. Rest In Peace beautiful Gabby.

I cannot, just can not understand how a mother (she even knew Gabby, had lived under the same roof!) can let another mother suffer like Brian's mom did Gabby's mom (& dad and stepmom and stepdad). It's so cruel.

Well, I as a mother, would have done all I could and said all I could, to get my son to turn himself in if I knew he had committed a crime. Been there and done this twice in my lifetime of 75 years. Once with a brother, once with my son. Both turned themselves in for their crimes....hard lesson for them both, but, to this day both are alive, doing well and have changed their lives around. Brian's parents knew about Gabbys demise but did nothing

I have no pity or sadness for Brian’s death, he took an innocent life and bullied and abused her before killing her needlessly and then he took the cowards way out but he still said goodbye to his parents when he didn’t allow Gabby to see hers! His parents are as guilty as him by covering for him when he came home and giving Gabbys parents no contact to help them understand on any level where Gabby was even though Brian was home with them with HER van! His parents must have seen how he treated and spoke to Gabby when they were living there, they allowed their son to become this monster and then covered for him knowingly afterwards!! This is a horrific case but Gabby is the victim so let’s not show remorse or sadness for her coward murderer!

The parents hired an attorney as soon as he returned to Florida. That indicates parents knew he did something right off the bat. Should be prosecuted.

And for any young ladies, middle-age ladies or even elderly, this goes for men as well, if someone is abusing you that is not love, try your best to get away and stay away, I know it’s hard, the police fudged the stop, blaming her, having said that, she wouldn’t leave him, she loved him….😥

The parents are as evil as the son. They tortured Gabby's family by intentionally withholding and hiding information.

I understand Brian's parents wanting to protect their son, but had they turned him in, he'd at least still be alive. Also, the Laundries were so cold hearted to Gabby's parents as they were wanting any info at all about their missing daughter, back when Brian returned with Gabby's white truck.

The police was searching that place for days. And found nothing. Then the mom and dad just walked down there and found the remains, back pack, paperwork, ect just laying out in the open. The parents should be charged.

His parents knew exactly what he did and helped him all the way to avoid being questioned/arrested. . They should be arrested
in the case and charged for helping him leave or interfering/harboring, as he should be in prison for killing her. His parents must be idiots. They knew what he had done to her.

When Brian returned to his patents home, in Gabby's van without Gabby with him, his patents should have insisted that Brian tell them where was Gabby. And they also should have contacted Gabby's parents immediately. And also they should have contacted the police right away. Instead they all went camping. There's something wrong with this situation; esp. his parents. What is wrong with his parents. They should be held accountable for withholding pertinent information.

The amount of ppl who believe that strangling someone to death could be an accident or a mistake that anyone can make is astonishing. Stop normalizing a murderer. It’s sad they’re both dead but only one of them chose to kill, twice.

I'm sorry but my gut is strongly telling me that Brian's parents knows a lot more than they're willing to tell. I felt this from day one. I think his whole family planed this out and said their goodbyes on those two days that they were filmed going into that park.

I feel badly for the people who originally called the police from the highway sensing something was wrong. They followed their gut which is also what the police should’ve done

They have made Brian look like a victim as much a Gabby was. That is an injustice in itself. I am so sick of the media showing Gabby with her murderer smiling and hugging. I am offended when they keep referring to Brian as Gabby’s Fiancé… their engagement ended and was voided when HE MURDERED HER. I HATE how Brian’s parents have been deferred to and coddled throughout this whole ordeal. They knew that their son was a sick sadistic person but they covered for him and allowed him to move his girlfriend in with him. I want to know what was in the notebook. We don’t HAVE to recognize “privacy rights” of dead murderers. I want to know if Brian has ever been diagnosed with having a mental illness? I want to know why they allowed him to obtain a gun when he is clearly disturbed? These people have been allowed to cover for their son all of his life and now they are covering for themselves as well. Gabby DESERVED BETTER! All VICTIMS OF DV DESERVE BETTER!

it still makes no sense to me how police can search for him for WEEKS, and find nothing.. then suddenly his parents go out and almost immediately find him. something is fishy.

I have zero sympathy for the Laundries. Had they helped the Petito family straight away I would feel very sorry for them as well, but what they did is let Gabby's family suffer for so long. They did not answer msgs when Gabby's mom was worried for both of them, thinking they are both missing, she did not know that Brian was home already for a week at that stage. The Laundries are some cold hearted people. I don't care at all how the coward Brian died.
