I don't normally shop at Wal Mart but I consider their hot dog chili sauce the best of any brand I have tried so far.

Hey, Wile E. Coyote, try reading the ingredients. Neither sauce have meat. Both have beans.

Uggg, I just tried Castleberry today and it was the nastiest tasting sauce ever. Tasted like sugar with a weird aftertaste, not sure what spice it is, but a horrible taste.

I won the show for best hot dog at a BBQ contest with the Walmart GV sauce. I had been drinking a bit and sent the kids hotdog with cheddar jack and a toasted Walmart bun and sauce. I Won with unanimous score. Was not even close to the other dogs. My brisket on the other hand did not even place.

Texas Pete used to have the best canned chili. They quit selling because they only made about $.10 a can. It was soy also.

Castleberrys used to be really good until they changed the recipe in 2011 and made it spicy. I like the great value but I usually add some cumin and salt

Food fight in my opinion the best chili is Wolf brand chili it actually taste like chili..It has a good flavor. And I know that Oscar Mayers is your favorite hotdog but I bought the Walmart Great Value beef uncured hot dogs and like you said it's very salty but it was good smothered in chili.

I like my hot dogs witb bush beans on it. Get a 9x9 bake pan put a can of bush onion or county style beans in it.top with your favorite hotdogs.i use nathans or sabretts dogs.top tbe dogs with 4 slices of bacon.bake at 375 until bacon is done.lightly toast dog bun.put in hotdog.top with beans and a slice of bacon.open mouth znd take a bite.yummy.the bacon fat adds flavor to the beans.

The Castleberry was okay. I like more chili flavor. I tried the Walmart Great Value today, and wasn't impressed. It was bland with more of a bean dip flavor. Glad it worked for you :)

I wish had shown the ingredient labels on camera first and compared the ingredients.

I hate to break this to you but there's no beef in either of them meaning no meat. Just beef fat. What you think is beef is textured soy protein and crushed beans and both of them have all that. Also both of them have tomato in them.
