Cholula is my ultimate fave I put it on a lot of my food.

To me Franks hot sauce is just for hot wings, and Cholula is for all my mexican dishes for is thick consistency and the smoky of the peppers, but again we all grow up with different traditions and tastes of our traditional dishes.

might as well compare vanilla to chocolate. Or which color is the best. Eat what you like.

I think both these sauces have their own applications. I like soups and tacos with Cholula but can't eat chicken wings or other chicken pieces without Frank's. I actually find Frank's is an awesome sauce, but its weird on certain things where other sauces are better.

Cholula Green is my favorite all time. The green adds an amazing zesty kick, and is good on anything savory. good.

I love them both. I used them for different things.

I like em both for different things, but I prefer the garlic taste of Cholula better in general. I also dig Valentina sauce, very salsa-esque in its taste and it's nice and thick. They are super cheap here as well, about $1-$2 here for each.

Cholula, a no brainer. BUT Cholula is damn expensive!

The vinagery tang also tells you how long it will last after opening!

Both are amazing. Depends on what you’re putting it on. I love both.

Try the chipotle version of the Cholula, that might change your mind, I always find the Frank's sauce too vingery, but it works with certain dishes

FoodFights - I dont know if you read your comments, but I will give you a couple amazing ways to use Cholula. First of all, get some fresh fruit, I think sliced oranges is BEST, but you can also use Pineapple, Mango, Watermelon or Cantaloupe. Sprinkle a generous amount of Cholula on the fruit and taste it. You will enjoy it. It sounds so weird and strange, but I promise, its delicious. Next, peel and slice some cucumbers. Add some lemon juice, salt and Cholula to the cucumbers and you will be eating them all in one setting. Truly delicious. I hope you try these two tips. While I have your attention here, I recently saw a video where you compared Ragu sauce to Prego. I highly recommend and would love to see you review a RAU'S MARINARA SAUCE. Best sauce ever. Walmart carries it. Love your videos, please make more.

it's simple: cholula is best for eggs and mexican food - kind of a niche hot sauce, but i still like it a lot and would grab it over tabasco for any food...but frank's is probably better for more american-style dishes and chicken wings. it's more versatile than cholula for the american diet and palette, regarding the flavor profile (not the heat). but still man i suggest you go check out boutique hot sauces. i haven't tried much of that stuff myself, but i am pretty confident that you can find hot sauces akin to beer from microbreweries: stuff most people have never heard of but whose end product is so much more developed than the standard stuff that you'll then see how basic and "meh" the standard stuff is in comparison.

Is it just me or does Cholula keep getting more expensive? Like doubled. I'm surprised I don't see home chefs trying to recreate it

Cholula beats the pants of Frank's Weak Sauce.

I am completely addicted to Cholula (I buy 64 Oz bottles of Cholula Lime and ship them to Thailand)

Try cholula on eggs! It’s the best thing I’ve done.

Frank's and Cholula are fine but I feel like having either of them as your favorite hot sauce is like having McDonald's or burger king as your favorite restaurant

I think these are just like comparing apples and oranges. One is Mexican and the other isn't. I personally would never use one in place of another. Wings need Franks, Tacos need mexican.

Live in the UK and decided to try Frank's red hot, too watery and vinegary compared to a brand we get in the UK called encona original hot pepper sauce.

idk (and yes I get the irony of what I am saying, but the point is there's a perceptible difference) frank's just tastes like spicy vinegar, it's kinda gross
