This man is a phenomenon, and I agree, he should be world famous in all the great concert halls and with all the best recording companies. Roman Kim is a true example that the greatest are very often overlooked. And, he certainly belongs amongst the greatest we have playing today, , , perhaps even since Paganini himself! Could he be a re-incarnation??

All gifted with the ability to skillfully discern that Roman Kim and his gift to perform, compose, and master the art of the all encompassing challenges of a violin agree on one thing as fact. That fact is, Roman Kim is one of the few rare gifts more than adequate to consider a historical genius contribution to the art of music and the violin specifically. My question is, are there any people reading this who know him and can explain why his name, his history and his career is not a world wide leader in music today and touring with the greatest orchestras, making recordings and with a great label? This is beyond me!

Not good enough, Roman doesn’t need an accompanist, he should be able to play both the solo and accompaniment like when he played mozart quartet as a solo.

I like how it's not a "to the letter" performance. I've been listening to other recordings of Zigeunerweisen but this one takes me to another place entirely.
