Well no, L wasn't just figuring out for a fact that Light was Kira here, it'd be better fitted to say he was finally dropping the cat and mouse game and admitting defeat.

Guy doesn't like to lose, so it makes complete sense to tell his murderer before his own death that even though he knows the jig is up he was never fooled for even a second as to who was really pulling the strings and calling the shots.

A last laugh in a way, no more perfect a way for L to go.

Ls death was actually the saddest in the entire death note. Though I have to make a correction in this Video, L already knew light was Kira even before this scene but he just couldn't proof.

That was what made the rest of the anime not as exciting. Cos all Near and Mello had to do was proof that Light was Kira.

I literally cried so hard when he died. Ngl I was praying that L should be an angel or something so that he cant die 😂. But its a nightmare for me, my hatred for Light got increased by 10x after L's death. L was my fav character and he didn't deserve that.
