You just gained a new sub.
I've worked in many industries, even the military, but I've always dreamed of selling my art online (and publishing my novels). I recently had to leave a job due to terrible management and it just had me thinking about how I need to start taking my art more seriously. Not just as a means to get out of working for someone else but because I enjoy making and sharing art! It's a massive passion of mine and should stop sleeping on it. I'm 32 years old and don't plan on giving up despite the few setbacks I've had. Your video is beneficial and I love your energy. Thank you for what you do, in videos and your art. :)

I agree and you should stick to your price. NEVER reduce because it insults your current collectors to reduce their investment in your art. It should INCREASE. What say you, my art friend?

P.S. I've seen people charge $400 for lesser information. And I've received many comments from people who can't believe they got it for free.

I LOLed when you said, "I know nothing about pricing" I often get buys (AFTER they purchase) tell me, "You are not charging enough."

Also speaking as an known art collector who has a massive collection. When I looking to add a work I have a price I'm willing to pay. If the artist price would is that or less if more I may pass on the work. Currently building a collection of world class drawings which are less than painting. But when an artist quotes painting price for their drawings I'm out. Artist are attempting a cash grab these artist won't be around long enough to make a career in art. But most correct info the problem will be the artist who hears this in Utah and not London they will only hear half of what you said and will have missed the other important detail.

If your first piece sold for much more than what you expected why did you not raise all the other prices?

I enjoyed the video, but the title paints a different picture than the actual content. Subscribed anyway. 👍

My husband keep to say to do low price, no way. I don't ask to much high but I don't want less. I am starting my artistic business, I do sacred geometry: mandala.

As for the doctors method, It is unclear if the doctors method mean to just put your painting without asking? Like Keith did?

You need to put some neils on the wall, and what if the doctors will decide to just take the painting away?

Please elaborate, on how to get the paintings out there on the wall

Amazing tip, thank you so much my friend

Hello Dries. Thank you for all the information in your channel, it helps me a lot, sometimes saves me too. I have a dilemma about the pricing. I understand your point, and that it partially reflects about being mindful of the place/country you sell. Last year I experienced, first time in reality pricing and selling in person. According to one place I gave a piece one price. Then in another place according to the place a gave the same piece a different price. Online I gave it a different price again... Truthfully, it does not feel right, it actually makes me feel unprofessional (Yeah, I know I'm in training...) and speculative. And so, after figuring out a price, this "mind the place (situation) in which you sell" makes me crumble again. What to do?

14:20 or even four likes. Not forty likes. And no comments. That with the same few people coming back with hardly anybody new. Those few people don't watch the entire reel but will give you a few seconds watch time and no one else will get to see it because of no watch time. And then the fake accounts and the scam accounts and bot accounts come over. Those will come but others will not.

I'm Brazilian, if I could sell 50, 00 dollars a month, I could have something around 250, 00 - 300, 00 reais, that is something good for a teenager who doesn't have a job

The only people making money out of art are the shops selling art supplies to wannabe artists.
