I would not have put my fingerprints on that camera. Instead of disabling or disposing of it, wrap it in a towel, or like-items such as blanket or cloth as this tactic is used to preserve and prevent destroying fingerprints/evidence. Then you can bring it to hotel management’s attention, and from there forward they will contact authorities. And if this is a private hotel you are staying in, leave the area before contacting the police.

Make sure you don’t buy things that plug into your phone from not like proper websites, my uncle got one to test and he plugged it in and it put a virus on his phone, luckily he thought that would happen so he used an old phone. (I tried to find the same website/company but it’s gone so that’s good)

Any camera has lens on it which reflects light in certain way or even colors! Just any flash light would work! Just be meticulous investigating for reflections out of place!

It's not the camera cover it self its the camera lens... Camera lenses can be hidden in almost anything... So what matters is the lens being spotted by the device light... As you saw in the "DEMONSTRATION" Video☺️

i'm just thinking, i'm a nerd for radios, cell towers, and that stuff, so logically, you could take an Amplitude modulation radio, and put it around objects. the sound you'll hear is called Electromagnetic Interference. a good example is, remember the gsm buzz? thats the EMI from the phone. Amplitude modulation radios are cheap, so you can search around for EMI, and you can listen to some stations.
