That guy definitely had technical training to know a pin hole was suspicious in a smoke alarm, or he installed plenty himself.

After watching this vid, i check the smoke detector on my bedroom, all the time there is a red light flashing each seconds. As i unmount it the Chinese securities knocked my door and found the smoke detector i removed just to check for hidden cameras. They were very upset, and told me i have no right to do what i did, and as a result they gave me a letter to leave the dorm room in 15 days. Did i do something wrong or what i did is right?.

this is why I will never stay at an AirBnB again. If a hotel did this and you found it, you can sue and you would win. But if it is an AirBnB, good luck suing them. AirBnb hosts ARE allowed to put camera's that record video and audio all over the house (inside and out), except in the bed room and bathroom). I don't rent from AirBnB just to stay in the bedroom the entire time. I might be sitting in the back and make a phone call and not realize everything I am saying is being recorded.

Firstly airbnb is not safe to use. Also I would understand have video camera for like the front door and such but not in the bedroom...

I know I have one or more in my apartment and mic I can hear them comment everytime I do something like I'm sewing and I hear someone say shes sewing or shes left the couch ect... I just cant locate it

No! That's a no brainer! Now, let me know how far these cameras can reach and film! How can I detect cameras that's installed not inside of a building but outside but towards that building that are designed to film (or/and record) what's going on inside of the building?
