Going beyond 'hello': Dan Klein at TEDxStanford

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. True. You should be prepared to have countless conversations not go your way and to try lots of hobbies and be disappointed, but if you just left a bunch of sponges and clamps inside the torso of the guy you just sewed up, better make that a one-time deal. :P
