Ambassador here in the USA! Mythtek scored me a 1936 Walking half dollar a bit over a week ago. I was thrilled to get that then today I just got back from detecting and the Mythtek and Manticore got me a 1906 BARBER half dollar today! The odds of this happening are slim to none. 2 half dollar giant silver coins in a few weeks time! Amazing stuff. It's a big coil but it's got the power to give you the extra depth to reach those few coins that are difficult targets that the early detectorist missed and even other new machines just can't reach these. You need ever advantage. This Manticore ability to detect coins tilted or on edge and the big coil is a winning combo! Love it. Oh I run recovery of 3 to 4 with the Mythtek and 5 with the Minelab coils. And stability at 1 or 2 with stabilizer filter ON. This helps tame these big coils down over hotter soils. And I do run max sensitivity. With stability at 2 and filter on you can run max sensitivity. Run the revolving frequency scan for sure until it settles on a number by holding the button down. Then ground balance. Pump the coil slowly up and down during ground balance. No fast pumping. Just a slow steady up and down. Then get to hunting. Depth will blow your mind! That's if the targets are there at depth.
