NEET Result Row Continues To Explode: Bihar Eco Offences Unit Makes Big Revelation Amid Controversy

As the NEET exam row continues to rage, sensational confessions to the Bihar Economic Offences Unit (EOU) have indicated widespread lapses in the conduct of the medical entrance examination this year. In their confessional statements, suspects said candidates paid exorbitant prices of over Rs 30 lakh in exchange for the leaked papers.

On Saturday, the agency issued notices to nine candidates asking them to arrive at their Patna office with evidence for questioning their association with the 'solver gang'. All the candidates were from different districts of Bihar and were asked to arrive on Monday and Tuesday. The testing agency National Testing Agency (NTA) is yet to respond to the latest developments.

Instead of blaming the students who paid money to buy question papers, why no media is trying to find out the person in NTA who leaked the question paper after getting money?

Government will do nothing and only will try to cover up the issue. Superme court will keep postponing the cases and will not stop or stay the counciling. Meanwhile folks who cheated and got ranks will get admissions to MBBS. After few months everyone will forget this.

There is no logic to deny RE-NEET for all students. NTA and Minstry setting a narrative over the concern that how to organise such a huge exam once again freshly. Hon. supreme court should not be carried away by such narrative and give judgement in favour of RE-NEET. Otherwise it will be very similar to award mass punishment for someone produced before the court without proper inquiry and trial justifying that the decision reduce/avoid the cost and time of investigation. Further boast for being the case to a conclusion within no time and pat it's own back saying the job well done.

1. Grace marks given for one physics question (related to “atom”) to be extended to all candidates or drop off the question.
2. Scanning software logic to be revalidated

Details:

1. The grace marks given for a physics question:
The grace marks given for a physics question where NTA awarded marks to limited students who answered anyone of two (defined) choices.
But there are students (including my child) who did not attend/ attempt the question as those answers are contradicting each other and attempting to answer would lead to negative marking.
so, the question should be dropped from the overall questions and correspondingly from the total marks. That is, the total number of questions should be 179 instead of 180. Similarly, total marks should be 716 instead of 720.

2. Revalidation of OMR scanning software logic:
To accommodate assigning 4 marks to the students who answered any one of the two defined choices for a physics question ( related to “atoms”), NTA might have changed the software application logic to read more than one choices as correct answers during scan of the OMR sheet.
NTA should ensure that the software assigns only 4 marks one time only and only to that one question. Other questions where a student might have marked more than one choices as answer should be considered as invalid or negative.
Otherwise there are chances of awarding 4 marks for invalid answer selection for questions and/or choices.

The day they introduced NEET, we already know big scam already in place for no doubt....why we need NEET in order to secure a seat for medical course, why the States Test Agency cant even perform this task in order to secure or providing admission for the deserving candidates within the state as per merit & the purpose for NEET exam, why our States Test Agency are not capable to take the task..
