We learn from pronoun switches such as "You know what you have to do" instead of I know what i have to do, that someone has in the near future has found hos journal, and an old friend group of his is teing to track him down. Seeing random things that hes related to jog his memory, giving him awful headaches. He dodges death by incredibly small margins, because we find out that he has already died, but im death one of his friends destroys a relic knows as "a tablet of sealed fate" reviving him and causing everything that would have killed him, to not kill him. He thinks hes just incredibly lucky, but unless he breaks more fate tablets, (caried by the fates gods of the world) his luck will run out, possibly killing him.

Im currently writing a book with a slightly similar plot. Its about a man that wakes up in the middle of nowhere, he has suffered extreme exhaustion and has severe amnesia. Hes drove to the point of insanity, and hes very irritable, with random outbursts of anger from losing his memory. He finds a bag with nothing to remind himself of who he is, but it has basic survival gear. Its a fantasy book but he doesn't remember what a "normal" reality is; cars, guns, citys, ect. Throughout the book we learn the he only refers to himself as "I", because he has no clue who he is, but he's writing down everything that happens to him in a journal he finds in his bag. Part 2 is a separate comment character limit.

I have to admit the game is AMAZING I spent a little over 3-4 hours completing the game but was a little disappointed at the end I didn’t know you could kill the monster I shot it with the shotgun a few times threw a Molotov at it and a grenade and RAN FOR IT just to get captured by German Soldiers and credits to start rolling

There’s a third option, drop lambert and then jump off after him. You get a small scene that’s a reference to the first game’s protagonist and the loading screen of “watch your step”

It's not confirmed that Henri was captured by the Germans. We really can't know exactly what happens next. We can only speculate. And if they were to actually see Henri, it's extremely likely they would just shoot on sight. So, in my opinion, either Henri was killed by the Germans in the end (boring), or he evaded them.

I find it unfortunate how the game was very solid for what it was but the story told throughout the whole thing was lazy and almost completely unnecessary. At least the other games made up for what they lacked in horror with story telling.
