I would buy the new Accord if they still offered the 2.0T engine with the 10 speed transmission. For now, I'll keep my '21 Touring 2.0T.

As long as Camry still has that V6 they are still winning to me

Fully loaded Camry has a real automatic transmission not a CVT a panoramic roof and almost 100 more horsepower.

$40, 000.00 is a lot of money honestly for basic features

I trust Toyota's hybrid system more than Honda's.

This guy doesn’t understand why people prefer the Camry XSE and TRD

Well the Camry has V6 3.5 300HP 8AT for under $40K. Accord has...CVT.

i dont miss my 2018. i love this new accord. it's much fun to drive, beautiful interior and mature/modern exterior. it's easy to hate when you dont drive one

I would take the current generation Camry any day over this! This new accord is so boring looking doesn’t even offer a panoramic sunroof.

If they kept the 2.0t in this or at least gave us better HP and torque this would be an awesome the Camry is definitely better

What do you mean “finally?” The Accord has been smacking the Camry since forever lol. Now that Honda has ruined the Accord, the Camry finally has a chance

As a Honda fan and owner of multiple cars of theirs, it hurts to say it but, the Camry beats the new Accord for the simple reason that the Toyota offering still has a NA V6 engine and a better transmission.

My 2015 Camry has 94k on the clock and it still drives like new. Wouldn’t be surprised if it still drives well after 385, 000 miles with only a new alternator or 2 during that time frame when it comes to repairs.

I am a hardcore Accord fan but this generation is just a disappointment.

- Less hp than all Camry models, no fast turbo either
- Cheap interior plastics that tick and rattle as much as a base Camry does
- Unknown hybrid system that kept getting discontinued and relaunched multiple times by Honda and with partnered batteries/parts being made by GM now?
- Very awkward blocky design language that was taken from other brands like Ford Taurus and Volkswagen

For sales, yes . According to wins. Both are great, reliable vehicles

Hopefully this thing costs $5K less than the outgoing model because it's a HUGE downgrade

I got the sport hybrid cloth because leather is terrible. My old M3 seats ended up cracking which sucked. They were hot and sticky during the summer and super cold and hard during the winter (even with a heated seat feature). Just wish I had the blind spot detection.. well I learned my lesson… CLOTH FTW!!

I would get this if Honda had still offered the 2.0T engine option and get all of these features without having to be a hybrid
