I have discomfort in the back leg and knee, especially as I go forward into the movement

I think I dropped the level of the surface i was using too fast because I've been starting to have pain in my knees when doing the ATG squat, I'm gonna go back to higher level 😅 do you think I could do more reps to compensate for the really high surface? I feel like my muscles aren't really working that much when I do them on elevated surfaces
