Exporting VMware workstation VMs to OVF helps you to import them to other hypervisors including VMware vSphere.
steps:
Select the virtual machine, select File, Select Export to OVF. Enter a name for the OVF file and specify a directory in which to save it, Click Save start the OVF export process
