Plus, I think this video should have been an actual analysis, rather than from the perspective of an ignorant question. I would have gone about this topic quite differently, that's all I'm saying.

The future of ARM in PC's is simple. Can it do the exact same task just as fast, while requiring less power and being hopefully, LOTS cheaper. I think anyone that wants to stick with Intel remembers the past, where Intel CPU's stomped everything. Back then, It was Intel, or cheaper and less powerful. If ARM can start beating Intel/AMD in 80% of all common home computing tasks, with VERY cheap computers, Intel will be a data center name only.

I want a fast and powerful Windows on Arm device that has a 24 hour, if not 48 hour, battery life. The Lenovo Yoga C630 is the closest thing to best of both worlds but lacks the performance.

Most of this video was the guy pointing to the top right corner of the screen and waiting for a poll link to show up. Worthless video. Do an actual comparison/analysis.

Why don’t you put the link in the description? It is so annoying to watch videos that flash a tiny link in the corner of the screen sometime in the middle of the video. Generally one would like to finish watching the video, and only then follow any links mentioned in it.

For a word processor yeah arm sounds great I think I'll pass for desktop work though.

X86 for sure but more specifically, 7nm mega-multicore, low heat, low power >5ghz...get the idea?

I'm all in for ARM PROCESSORS. If for nothing at all the iPad Pro is an eye opener. Oooh I love technology😁👌

X86 due to compatibility.
Windows ARM doesnt have it yet.

Nah, for any complex and high end professional grade work, X86 is always going to be the best choice. ARM is amazing for good power savings and is best suited for mobile and tablets but for a laptop/desktop type system I will never buy an ARM CPU system.

Why would you hobble yourself with an ARM processor? I'm not even the type who needs to have something top of the line. But I know if I have a serious workload, I wouldn't want anything less than X86.

If ARM legitimately decides to get into the x86 realm, Intel and AMD won't stand a chance. Intel is at 14 nm @ up to 5 GHz with the Cortex-A76 is a 7 or 8 nm but their "Hercules" line is rumored to be based on DynamIQ technology, and will be optimized for both the latest 5nm and 7nm nodes and already at 3.0+ GHz, but the wattage is absurdly low at like 5W....

If you look at the total wattage compared to Intel's, ARM will DESTROY them. ARM is far, far superior as far as performance per size is concerned and they own so many industries, such as consumer electronics and mobile processors. If Intel and AMD aren't really should be.
