Bandai Star Wars Slave I 1/144 scale mode - full build and review. This is another one of Bandai's excellent Star Wars kits, this time Boba Fett's ship that first appears in Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back. All of Bandai's model kits are snap together, and the engineering is so precise that you genuinely don't need any glue. Additionally, they are supplied with both waterslide decals and stickers as an alternative for younger or less experienced modellers.

Try the R2-D2 and R5-D4 kit. I did that one a couple of months ago and it was great.

Nice ! Came out looking epic ! Love the weathering! Also that Tamiya glue is the best for when glue is needed.. I use the Tamiya extra thin cement with amazing results. I may give this kit a go.

Looks a great result which is good enough to be used as a film prop. I’ve built the AT-AT but not painted it yet as I’m still trying to decide whether to model it walking or crashed in the snow 🤔. I also have the perfect grade millennium falcon to build sometime and as you pointed out are great kits.

nice review. I tent to spin a philips screw on the peg holes before I do test fits for easy disassembly :D

Another superb build, thanks, I wish Bandai would kit this in their miniature series, would love to add it to my collection.
With regards to the hairspray, does wetting down the paint prior to chipping it cause any problems? Or does it just dry naturally?

I've never tried a bandai give one a go some time. Thanks for showing us how easily the kit comes together and describing the process. Your channel never fails to provide insight into this hobby....thank you!

Thanks for this. I was wondering how to do this without airbrushes.

So are you using enamels or acrylics for the chipping technique? I would assume enamels?

Hello. Will this kit still look good if I just use the decals provided in the kit, no custom paintjob?

Also is there a stand provided in the kit?

Do the cannons and wings articulate?

Hi so this will be my first model kit, the painting work frightens me, any advice for a newbie? And if you could recommend any kind of starter kit with brushes, paint for this one? Thanks a lot!
