The original pattern was by Richard Long, I was part of the original research group on this to ID the kit parts. It was originally drawn and printed from the Finemolds kit. This is why the hull isn't quite right to the miniature. It was corrected some but how much I'm not sure.
Ben Yetter is the lad you speak of just in case you forgot.
