This film is so incredibly moving and beautiful, my absolute favorite Ghibli film. I named my cat Calcifer. I have never loved another creature like I love him, he holds the key to my heart. We found each other during an awfully tumultuous time in my life, he was there for every death, every tear, every abuse, every breakdown...there were some dark times that he saved me from. I probably wouldn't be here without him, he was the only reason I had to keep going. I have never in my life known a cat like him, his undying loyalty and love touches me every single day. 10 years together and going ❤
