Using the "Bluetooth" option to connect to your computer instead of a usb dongle should still work just fine.
Make sure to click on all of the options in the "Advanced" tab under Bluetooth settings.
Doing this will provide relief if no keyboard or mouse is detected at startup.

I have been using my Craft keyboard with the Mac via Bluetooth and it works fine on startup and connects without issue, but I now want to use the receiver to see if it will overcome the problem I have with using the Crown to control the volume.
When the Logi Options software is open, the Crown / volume function works fine, but as soon as I close the Logi software, the Crown reverts to the previous setting of switching tabs, despite the settings in the software staying the same!
I'm hoping the receiver will rectify this.

Hey im using A dongle for my macbook and I put the receiver in the donlge, but the website says it doesn't see any receivers, so does it still work with a dongle because im using a macbook 13 which has no USB ports in it. I hope you can still see this comment because this was 2 years ago!

Can you link your logitech keyboard AND mouse to 1 receiver on the mac? The unifying software is not available for my Mac Mini.... RIght now I am using 2 receivers for both the mouse and keyboard and I would rather want to save the 1 USB port for something else if possible.
