In this tutorial, I'm going to show you what you can do when your PS4 is stuck in safe mode loop, when it cannot start, screen error fix and PUP file missing error and how to fix it and manually update your ps4 system software. This fix is applicable for PS4, PS4 Slim and PS4 Pro.

Then it would say Connect your controller
And then wont rebuild database

well my ps4 looks like finally gave up on me after 4 years
currently hate life rn
okay okay, update: i fixed my ps4, doesn't need anything, just need patience. just let your PS4 off for 3-4 days and don't play on it.
After the 3-4 days, turn it back on and check. This worked for me, not sure if it will work for the others tho.
this error may occur because you haven't downloaded a software update

I followed your steps and instead of restarting n loading into the blue page, I get out back to the black screen saying
cannot start the PS4
Connect the DUALSHOCK 4 using USB cable, and then press PS button.

Thanks man tried using internet safe mode to reinstall version 7.51 but had go playstation on my computer download the file to my usb before it would work thanks so much!

When I start my ps4 it says checking system storage and pause at 25 or some times 27 this was my new hdd buyed 2 months ago but now when I have this issue I initialized my ps4 it turns on and when ever I turn off it again it goes to checking system storage and says download the system software 7.50 and I update system software using internet it gives a error code or sometimes it starts and again when I turn of same process starts.

I had to clean out all the dust on my ps4 including the dust on the sides and turn it back on and that fixed it for me
