A new Weapon has made its explosive debut in Mech Arena!

The Nade Launcher is the first example of the new ‘Barrage’ Weapon Type. It rapidly fires a series of grenades in an arcing trajectory. These explode on impact, dealing splash damage to any enemies nearby.

The new weapon system is to create a whole new category for every new weapon, and thus new pilots (added expense). These are artillery weapons. They should live alongside RM.

This is best suited to mouse and keyboard players; the auto-lock on mobile tends to make it hard to lead targets or to aim at floor or walls to control your shot's arc.

This weapon is really underrated, it reloads fast, does decent splash damage, but fires slow. I can see it working really good against artillery mechs, and slower mechs like arachnos

This weapon needs a lot more radius to be viable, even more radius than the disk launcher. Its not imbalanced becuase the weapon has a set trajectory and like you said, not very long range. Until then it's only about as useful as confetti

This weapon must have other parameters such as an angle marker because the developers made the weapon fire bullets only at a minimum distance when the shot is below the horizon and the maximum distance when the shot is above the horizon, between that there is always a blind spot.
This weapon is not for aiming and locking but rather a suppressor like a Minigun.
I hope the next update can fix this feature.

The nade launcher isn't the best but definitely not the worst, with the slow projectile speed trying to hit your enemies is quite a challenge, although the fact it's able to flush out opponents is nice, the splash radius should be bigger to compensate for how hard to predict and lead your shots, overall I kinda like the nade launcher, has decent damage and that rapid fire rate makes it rain nades on the battlefield, don't see why it's so over hated tho

Ik, that this isn't related but I honestly was thinking of a close range weapon but not as electricity, but rather good old fashioned flames, which I like to call "Incineration", which will have some pros an cons.

Chill with the weapon categories, you are just adding a new category for each weapon. That said, I feel like these things are really strong. Splash damage + high fire rate + fast reaload - ideal for me.

Seeing how they are near impossible to aim please buff the splash damage. Any tips on hitting your target?

Hey, 75 meters on javelin is quite a ground to cover, yet again they are javelins. Still my points stand that skilled barrage player can make these 80 meter a living hell to any non-scout mech. Scouts are the bane of every weapon that rely on range to at least some extent

I used to pair my nade launchers with Orion. The Hunter's Mark for extra damage plus stasis effect allows me to land good hits 👌

Even after The gear hub this weapon isn't avaliable to everyone because :
1. Till Tier V the other two variants cost more than 2000 a coins .
2. The only Nade Launcher that costs credits is the Nade Launcher 10 still costs 268, 000 credits ( At tier V).
3. And it is underwhelming as well

in the description "the trajectory of the launch allows you to throw grenades over obstacles, " in fact, everything hits the corner without doing any damage ☠️☠️☠️. I see 2 ways to make this weapon useful: 1. make a radius as a disc launcher and make similar implants on the radius: that is, remove the legendary implant and make epic on max pumping +50%, or make a trajectory of launch at close range as helix rack, and on the long as Rocket Mortar. Or better all together and make the weapon legendary.
