Anger is one of the most common human emotions, and it can be described as an emotional response to a specific situation, environment, or person. People who have done you wrong can make you feel angry but also experiences such as losing at a game, just to name one. In most cases, anger’s emotional manifestations are associated with physical effects. Angry people might display higher blood pressures, as well as increased heart rates and adrenaline levels. These are also some of the reasons why chronic anger (being angry very frequently) could be linked with adverse health effects.

Anger is often seen as a negative feeling, but a little bit of anger could actually be a good thing. Being angry in a dangerous situation could help you trigger your “fight or flight” reaction and even give you the confidence and motivation to face certain challenges. However, to much anger can often have severe physical and mental consequences, such as leading to stress and depression. Sooner all later, all humans experience anger to some degree, so this is a perfectly normal feeling. Some people are unable to control their anger, and when this happens, they might risk hurting themselves or those around them. While many talk about the importance of controlling anger, some researches have warned the public of the possible danger of suppressing this emotion. Bottling it all up inside might not always be the best idea, as anger needs an outlet for it to be translated into a healthier emotional outburst.
