Nassau Bahamas (DOWNTOWN) tried to sale me a HAT for $50.00. I declined. He pushed it down to $40.00. I nicely said NAH I'M GOOD. He then said $20.00. I said LET ME LOOK AROUND SOME MORE. After that he said Give Me Whatever You Got. Nassau is very pushy in trying to sale you goods. At the front, a Taxi or Go Cart is $50 - $80. Further in I found out that you can get the same thing for around $10 - $20. Just be careful, & here's the Heads Up!!!

The cost is so true! The wife and I are taking our first cruise in February and first cost was 1k for both of us after taxes and such. Our extra packages and excursions, hotels (driving down the day before and leaving the day after) and insurance, we've spent about 3k for a total of 8 days away from home... still cheaper than flying to a resort though!

Thank you for all the information. I cannot tell people enough that the "real" cost of ANY vacation is all the costs incurred from the beginning. This is my first cruise and the travel agent put me in and aft cabin. I'm not prone to motion sickness but I have meds just in case something happens. AGAIN....thanks for the info.

Thanks for educating me. You guys are the absolute best!! We are going on our very first cruise in February. We are driving down to Port Canaveral from the ATL. We will be on the Carnival Liberty for a short cruise just to see what it's like. If we like it, we will do one of the larger ships for a week late 2023 or early 2024.
