We came back to explore the cave we found in the back of this mine, and realized the cave turned out to be way bigger than we could have ever imagined.

23:03 if you go to a local University, you'd be surprised how much people would want a sample from that ceiling. There's all kinds of microbiome that is typically Untouched by man. We have found and discovered so many species in caves, on ceilings like this. Any of your Earth Sciences Department, or biology might be highly interested.

Hey, just a pointer, the cave you're in has blue coloured water, so, chances are theres probably some compounds related to copper mixed in it.
It can also be noticed with the crystals present on the pole near it's waterline. They were of a light bluish hue, so, again, related to copper.
Another thing, in mines like these, there's a fair chance that there's a buildup of heavy gases like CO2,
especially as it's a limestone mine(CaCO3). You might die if you inhale such gases. If you're unlucky enough and are exploring a mine near a seismically active zone, say, near a hot spring, there may be something called 'Hydrogen Sulphide' gas in there, one whiff and youre dead.

You guys checking out that structural beam makes me smile. They were typically pretty well enforced. That looks like a catastrophic failure, and someone came later on to block that. Definitely looks like it failed too they would actually wedge those in. I grew up with my grandfather and father taking us through Old Mines. Some of those Mines being previously operated by the company my grandpa used to work for. That is definitely a cave that you want to have someone waiting outside just in case. Looks like they were following natural lines, in fact, it looks like one hell of a white buffalo Cavern.

that shot of the "Crystally Clouds" rotated to the upside down really looks like you are floating above a vast snow cap mountain range.

Your videos give me such intense claustrophobia/anxiety at times - but I can’t stop watching! I’d love to go on a guided cave tour with a group like y’all - the videos of some of the places I’ve see y’all visit are INSANELY beautiful! Keep the videos coming! New subscriber ❤

This is probably the most terrifying video I've ever watched. The sheer danger of being in this cave - and exploring things by yourself. It's insane.

A great video you can watch over and over again. It is amazing how clear that water is considering it is in a cave.

4:42 You know what? Seeing stuff like this makes me a little sad! :( .. I'm getting old, my Dad id long since dead and both my brothers died last year. It makes me sad that I never got out to experience this kind of things, I can't walk but a few hindered yards now. It's SOO COOL that you guys make the videos, at least those of us wo can't get there, can see what it's like and enjoy! :)

How the heck you ever find your way back out is beyond me.

I think the track you found in the cave was lowered down a bore hole probably from surface, judging by the amount of corrosion on it, it has been there for a long time, iron oxide grows at about 1mm a year. The corrosion layers look about 50mm thick in places so the beam could have been in that location for around 50 years.

I wish all the crystal encounters would show up better on video, I cant imagine how amazing it must be to see in real life.

I love watching your exploits in these caves. I belonged to a speleological club here in Australia when I was young and loved the adrenaline rush of going into the earth. Thanks for your adventures this year. I have loved being along for the ride. Merry Christmas and happy New Year guys. 👍🏻🇦🇺🤟🏻
