Park Cameras in London took to the festive streets of London to try out the Sony a7S II in some wintry low-light conditions - with a guest appearance from some festive backdrops.

For added bokeh and performance we combined the Sony mirrorless powerhouse with the fantastically rare Canon 50mm f/0.95 aka 'The Dream Lens'.

You can read more about The Dream Lens combination with a Sony a7 II on our blog here:

Sadly we can't help with obtaining a Canon Dream Lens, however we can supply compatible adaptors if you do source one!

Have you tried an A7r II and compared it to the A7s II?
I have, and when down-sampled to 12MP there is ZERO noticeable difference is noise handling.

For stills, the A7r II is better in low light.
I tested using Zeiss Loxia and Batis lenses.

I returned my A7s II and bought another A7r II ;)

How did you adapt the Dream lens to the A7?

The problem with Canon lenses on the A7S cameras is that they are way too sharp and have that sterile sharpness, video feel to them. A7S II combined with Nikon lenses makes for a faar more cinematic look imo. Still, amazing low light ability in that lens. Thanks for posting.
