Sony a7S ii REVIEW!

In this video review of the Sony a7s II we'll cover what S-Log video settings we recommend filming in, my experience using Canon EF lenses with the Metabones adapter, how some of the biggest problems with filming on this camera can be overcome, and whether I'd recommend someone switching to Sony or mirrorless cameras for making videos.

I have just purchase the atomos shogun 7 and I can’t get a signal from my a7s (micro hdmi to full hdmi ) I have used 2 different cables and can’t get a signal - when I use the fs7 (full hdmi to full hdmi ) I get an input signal.is there anything I need to do internally in the camera to get a signal output ?

Can you please guide me about the HFR settings. Once i shot at 25p 100mb later when i saw the footage it was all slow mo how can i shoot at real time? I Pleasee help!

From what I understand, the viewfinder takes more power than the monitor.

Was your metabones adapter in green mode or advanced mode? Advanced mode allows you to access more Sony features - possibly steadishot and focus assist with your canon lenses. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.

Somebody just hacked the camera :D so now you can have unlimited record time
