This was in LA in 1991. I snuck out of my dorm room at UCLA and bought a scalped ticket for a nosebleed seat. During the opening act, i gradually made my way closer to the stage. I saw this with my own eyes from 100 feet away. 😊

I was there we with my two best friends, . We were up in the nosebleed section and could barely see the dark figure stepping out of the shadows, but the voice made us realize it was without a doubt David Bowie. The freak out in the audience was much bigger live than what it seems like in this video. I can't believe it was 30 years ago this month! I still have the ticket stub.

Bowie is a genius songwriter and has a strong voice but I have to say Morrissey's voice is just as smooth as silk.
