The Trophy tank protection system doesn't work because Al Yassin 105 RPG Tandem Warhead rockets were fired at ranges of 100 yards or less, rendering Trophy active protection system useless because it's radar have insufficient time to react at close ranges. Impressive.

You misunderstood the purpose of tandem charges. The first charge is not meant to penetrate the armor for the main charge to detonate inside the vehicle. It's meant to activate Explosive Reactive Armor (ERA) so that it doesn't defeat the working principle of the main shaped charge that is supposed to penetrate the armor underneath ERA.

The Al Yassin 105mm is a copy of the Russian PG-7VR warhead which has around ~600mm of Penetration after hitting an ERA and ~700mm w/ out ERA. This type of rocket (not missile as it is not guided by a system) is built to bypass Non-explosive reactive armor (Composite armor like chobham & etc) and Explosive reactive armor (Blazers, Kontakt-5 & etc), by the tandem penetrating the main armor first before the main warhead.
The 2nd warhead unlike in the video IS NOT a high explosive anti-personnel and instead a High Explosive Anti Tank (TLDR: the 1st warhead but bigger).
In practice the tandem warhead would neutralize the ERA or heavily damage the NERA thus in turn making it easier for the 2nd more powerful warhead to be able to penetrate the target/armor.

I think OP accidently mixed up the Yassin 105 HEAT variant which Hamas uses on armor instead with the Anti-fortification (painted yellow instead of black) which is shown in the video but mixed them up.
