How did they manage to create a rocket at home?

First of all they use some common household ingredients, such as sugar and potassium nitrate, which can be easily obtained as a fertilizer.

Then they Start by melting the sugar, mix in the fertilizer, and pour the resulting mixture into a mold to form a properly-sized propellant slug.
This propellant is subsequently placed into a Round Tube, which serves as the rocket's body, typically made from locally available water pipes.

You might wonder why sugar is included in the mix.

Sugar contains a substantial amount of energy, but it releases this energy slowly when it burns, and The fertilizer serves as an oxidizing agent, supplying oxygen.

This allows for a much quicker release of energy.
When the right proportions are used, it burns fast enough to propel a rocket, yet not so quickly as to cause an explosion.

This Video has no relation with the hospital Attack.

It takes 5 days to Render Model & Animate which is pretty fast, but not fast enough to animate and release in 18 hrs.
It was just a Co-incidence because as a team we always wonder how they managed to make 5000 rockets Locally.

As a kid, we could build rockets/fireworks for fun and not get in trouble. Now, just watch a video about it and you go on a watchlist. Fantastic world we live in.

After Israel used the Iron dume system to detect possible hitting missles, hamas increased the density of the attack on singular spot to guarantee a hit, thus proving that sometimes quantity beats quality

Dear feds, I did not search for this video. It found me. ..I clicked because… science

This is what Americans casually build in their backyard and test it in an open ground, watched it on Discovery Science

That awkward moment where you have to spend 50, 000 dollars to stop 300 dollars 😂

This video talks about the first generation of Palestinian rockets, but now the rockets have improved greatly in terms of accuracy, efficiency, range, and destructive ability.

I'm an Arab.I remember (as a kid) watching/hearing about hamas operations with knives and rocks. Now they have a semi army (sometimes called the army of orphans) and homemade rockets, drones, torpedoes and tandem RPGs. Also this video only shows the primitive versions of the Al Qassam rockets (made around 2001). Now they have thousands of a lot more advanced & bigger versions. It is difficult to imagine Israel's position without the Iron Dome.

Edit: forgot to mention the city (literally) of tunnels under the gaza strip

Basically, Qassam rocket wasn't mean for destroying Israel, but bankrupting Israel, why ?

because 1 Iron Dome missile cost $50, 000 - 80, 000 depending on variant (not counting Iron Dome System like radar, mobile base, communication tower, generator, etc.)
Qassam rocket cost only $800 each, and it can be as low as $300 if they can find free water pipes and scrap metal from junkyard.

Are iron dome capabilities only tested against sugar rockets??

After battling with Blender for the entire evening just to throw in the towel after trying and failing to make bulkheads in a cylindrical vessel, I cannot believe the amount of patience and skills you guys have when making all these videos. I've worked in film and creative professions for 15 years using a variety of video and photo editing programs and Blender is by far the most unintuitive piece of garbage I've ever come across. Hats off to you guys!

Can't believe the video started as "This is the reason why terrorists are able to afford enough artillery to treat a city" but went "Anyways, there is how you can build rudimentary artillery too!". The educational purposes escalated from Google to Bing very quickly…

A 500 Dollar rocket for 50.000 Dollar one, that's insane. And at the end with the existence of the Iron Dome they could hit Tel Aviv.

Sugar rockets. Made these way back in the 1990s. They are good for cheap hobby rockets when size E engines are not enough. The biggest one used a carpet tube as the tube with some laser cut aluminum fins to stabilize it. The propellant was made of a mixture of ammonium nitrate, potassium nitrate, sugar, sulfur, latex resin, iron oxide and aluminum powder. It should be launched shortly after filling because the mixture will absorb water. Also, they need to have a hollow core in order to get enough propellant burn to actually launch, otherwise you end up with a big smokebomb. The ignition system was dragon eggs fireworks pellets with extra black powder and aluminum dust mixed in. The big one was launched at Bong recreation area of all places 😅 anyway melt casting propellant bricks water main pipe sized sounds extremely dangerous as the mixture ignites not much higher than the melting temperature 😮

these was their rockets back in 2001-2003 (Qassam-1, -2, -3 ..), now they have missiles and it's locally made, it has gps and its much more advanced even some of the rockets can maneuver the Israeli defenses such as J-80, M-75 AYYASH-250 .. etc

don’t forget, that propellent is made of sugar and potassium nitrate

That's how some kids spent time in the USSR when there was no Internet. My childhood was full of fun explosions and rocket launches and this was not concidered something unusual. If I did today just a small a fraction of what I did when I was 10 years old, I would have been arrested immediately))). I feel sorry for today's kids(((
