HOW TO PERFORM THE LANDMINE PRESS

Показать описание
In this video Champion coach Kiefer Lammi goes over how to set-up and perform the 1-Arm Landmine Press!
👉The landmine press is an awesome modified overhead movement that you can perform if you have trouble getting all the way overhead for something like a barbell or dumbbell overhead press, or simply as a different variation of the movement.
To Perform:
1️⃣Set yourself up with a staggered stance (squared stance, ½ kneeling and tall kneeling are all good options as well, but standing split stance is a great starting point)
2️⃣Keep your elbow 15-30 degrees off your body for an optimal pressing motion and brace your abs tight to avoid excessive extension or rib flare
3️⃣Press forward and overhead, finishing with a bit of a reach to promote better upward rotation of the scapula.
4️⃣BONUS! If you have adequate overhead mobility, lean yourself into the press as you go extend your arm to get a more full shoulder range of motion.
