Can Catholics Believe in Evolution?

The Theory of Evolution and Catholic faith? They’re not at odds. 🌍✨

For years, it’s been painted as science versus religion.
But the truth? Catholics can embrace evolution—so long as we recognize this:

Every human being has a trans-physical soul, lovingly created and given by God.

This means:
🌟 Evolution can help explain the physical world.
💖 Our souls? A divine gift, beyond the material.
🕊️ We’re not just bodies—we’re made for eternity.

Faith and science don’t cancel each other out. They point us to a bigger picture: a God who works through nature and transcends it.

I am Catholic. I believe in evolution. Not in the where we came from a different species. But we do evolve. We do become taller when food is abundant. Our brains change as nature changes things around us. We are still humans. This is true with all animals. No species becomes something new. DNA passing down does not turn into something else.

They made the mistake of trying to prove evolution with science and they proved God instead.

What separates animals from humans is the ability to write down information to pass to the next generation. Marriage is sacred because it builds up strong youths who will be explorers, scientists, and artists. Etc for the future. People with advanced science can only live well lived 100 years.

Atheistic philosophers will argue that God did not create the world and evolution created it so we need to defeat the atheists and prove Darwinian evolution wrong. But evolution is not a problem if you see Gods hand everywhere. We know God personally through his love and kindness, and then questions about the minor details of His construction methods of the universe are not important. We already know God created every thing. If thats the way it works then that is highly likely to be His construction method.

It’s true God created earth by bible don’t say explicitly how created. It takes by time, also Gods one day is not our calendar day. Human calendar year and time corresponding to our planet and sun relative measurements.
