There’s a old saying in show biz “Be nice to the people you meet on your way up, because they are the same people that you’ll meet on your way down.”

Kevin had such a unique and powerful voice. I was always impressed with his vocal prowess. Quiet Riot was an amazing band.

If you have ever watched any of the shows Terry Dubrow is on, he talks about Kevin a lot and has Kevin's gold records hanging on the walls of his house. Clearly he admires his older brother and is proud of what Kevin had accomplished.

I wasn't a big QR fan but Kevin's powerful singing with a mouth like a aligator along with the boys to make the noise made for one of my all time favorite songs that only gets better with time . "Metal Health" 1983 . Thank you .

Frankie Banalli actually hit the drums so damn hard, that there was a story that he bent one of the snar stands!!! I always loved Frankie, he was my second favorite drummer after Peter Criss!!! Rip 🙏 Frankie and Kevin

We met QR in Augusta, ME and Hampton Beach, NH. Chuck, Frankie, Kevin and I don't know who was on guitar, pretty sure it wasn't Carlos but they were signing autographs after their set. Kevin didn't seem to pleased when both nights I told Frankie how he did a awesome job on the Headless Children.

Saw QR at a dive bar in 1992 and I shook Kevin's hand. The show promoter was a friend of mine and he introduced us. Kevin didnt really say anything, just looked like he really didnt want to be there. I also met Carlos Cavazo and Bobby Rondinelli, who was QR's drummer at the time. Carlos was really cool and gave me a guitar pick. As soon as the show was over they all disappeared to their hotel rooms.

Hi this is Lori Lee Samson as seen in this Video. As I was watching mySon’s (Kaesen Samson) concert “Twist Off!’ performance in Vegas PRB 3 day music festival. Last night. We hit up Guitar Center today to get some supplies & Kevin’s song was playing today on the radio as we were at the checkout counter. We just looked at each other and said “Spooky”… I am also on the credits of the CD “Rehab” you just mentioned.
RIP K.D. 2007

Who’s watching in 2024? Terry always seems so proud of the success his brother had. Such a tragic death.

My band at the time opened for Quiet Riot in 1998 or so. Kevin was very friendly and gracious. Being a teen in the 1980's I had heard all the nasty stories about Kevin, but he was the complete opposite when I met him. Glad he was. I have opened for other people whom I used to admire and they turned out to be well, lets just say less than what I expected

Kevin, Randy Rhodes, who was a founding member of Qiot Riot, and the one that killed me, was Frankie Banalli passing away from cancer!!!

Excellent video. I remember him from the way he looked towards the end of his life, the white blond hair. It’s so sad to see someone pass this way. Six days before he was found, how sad. Maybe rest in peace 🙏
