Cletus, I’m a corporate pilot and my old mechanic had a Lincoln Mark VIII back in the early 2000’s with nitrous and a supercharger on it. He dominated the local dragstrip in Muncie, Indiana for five years with that car bracket racing. The thing was rowdy as could be. the funny part is he bought it for $4500 off his buddy who ran the local Dodge dealership and did all the work himself. I helped him change out some bigger injectors and we went from 3.73 rear to 4.10 I believe or maybe it was 3.55. It ran the same times with both gears but on the small end of the track the 4.10’s dominated…

The best part was he had under $10, 000 in the whole thing and he would murder guys with $75, 000 cars every day of the week
