Matt loves fixing crash damaged cars so much, they are now selling him pre-crashed brand new cars.

Hi Mat, I’m a SEND teacher working with young students who face various challenges in re-engaging with school life. I just wanted to share a big win with one of my students who’s been really withdrawn and struggling to connect. We tried a few things, but it wasn’t until I put on one of your videos that he finally sat up and engaged. For the first time, we had a moment where he was actively interested, and it’s all thanks to your content! Your videos are making a real difference, and I just wanted to say thank you for helping us reach him in a way nothing else had so far. Keep up the great work!

Just a quick idea of why the car won’t start. Since you guys screwed the bolt in the transmission to lock it in neutral, it might not register it as in “park”. Some newer cars won’t start if it isn’t in park. Maybe put the gearbox back in park and try it again :)

Lots of love from Denmark ❤

Ex autoglass here, done good job as its ur first time but for future times pls note the big “V” notch thats cut out from the nozzle, thats where the glue comes out to make an triangular bead. Hold the gun at 90 deg to the aperture so the glue comes out from only that V notch. Always good to learn new skills mate and im learning many new skills watching u guys problem solve and fix🫶 love it! Keep up the great content!

Just a suggestion after watching your previous videos and rebuilds: I think it would be really helpful to start using a checklist. When you get a car up on the ramps for the first time, having a list to check things like wishbones, arms, droplinks, etc., could ensure nothing is overlooked.

For example, with the Urus, when the car was pulling to one side, a couple of bent arms were missed. A checklist could help catch issues like that early on.

What an incredible feat! Buying a wrecked Aston Martin DB12 and completely rebuilding it in just 24 hours is nothing short of amazing. This showcases not only your exceptional mechanical skills but also your determination and passion for automotive restoration. The Aston Martin is such an iconic vehicle, and bringing it back to life in such a short time is truly impressive. This kind of project takes a lot of planning, hard work, and expertise. I can’t wait to see the finished product and hear about the journey, it’s a fantastic inspiration for anyone in the car community

Hey Matt, I’m currently rebuilding a DB11, mines a V12 and can only read a few codes like yourself, as for the no start, my ecu was reset by airbag team, I replaced pyro and had 12v to starter, still no start, had it taken to Aston on low loader and they updated ecu and airbag ecu and it fired up, when crashed the airbag unit sends a signal to ecu and shuts it down. So I think a trip to Aston is your best bet as it needs AMDS2 diagnostics, only at Aston, or McGurk performance as they just bought AMDS2, good luck, Mark

Work at a main dealer and most likely crashed when on PDI Drive or even the salesman on the way to fuel it up, we’re insured on new cars before registration if you have trade plates on the car. This is why it’s written off before registration etc.

Hey Mat,
I have an idea why it won't start.
It could be the micro switch in the hood lock.
With the BMW, for example, you can't put it in gear when it's open.
Check the ground strap from the engine to the body and the starter relay....
Of course, the gear selector lever should also be in N or P position.😅
But the most important thing is... if you don't know exactly what the reason for the accident was... you should definitely check all technical parts, not that the accident happened because of a defect.
Good Luck 😊
